Main Room
Finally reaching the top of the long wooden ramp that winds around the tall and ancient-looking tree, you find it has led to a quaint treehouse setting. The ramp has led to a large covered and enclosed room built out from the tree. Inside the room, there are two large round tables with chairs in the middle, and a long bench on either side, curving to fit against the walls of the room. Each bench has green padding on the seat and a curving table above it. At the far end of the room is a table covered with a green and white tablecloth, upon which are some baskets of exotic-looking fruit. There are a few more slightly smaller treehouses further away, attached to other, similar, trees. Platforms branch out and connect each of the rooms with the others, with one leading away to the left, another ahead and to the left, and the third one from this treehouse leading ahead and to the right.
“Another day and we continue to the third site on this scan of the planet Ida,” Liara says as she speaks into her recorder, “My current assistant, Maria, has proved quite valuable – she only flipped the Mako twice on our drive here – and has guided me to a possible Prothean ruin she’s heard rumors of. We were able to find it after only three hours of driving off cliffs and plummeting to what I feared was my death.”
“As an aside, Maria has gifted me with a symbol of a ‘master archeologist’ in the human culture: a fedora and a bullwhip.”
“We’re entering the structure now. While the Protheans often blended natural elements with artificial structures, I am not familiar with any building made entirely from a tree. Likewise, the wooden furniture is neither in a Prothean style and shows no sign of decay. I feel we may have erred in –“
Maria: “Pardon me Dr. T’Soni, but the ramp is gone.”
Liara and Maria peer out the side of the tree-house at the long, deadly drop to the ground below.
Liara: "Oh, this is not good. It’s possible we’ve triggered some type of security system. We should look for a latch or some other control panel."
The two began to scan the room, taking in various details.
“There’s fresh fruit here,” Maria says while picking up a piece. She weighs it in her hand, studies it, and then tucks it in her satchel. “That would indicate the tree-house is inhabited. Hopefully, they’re friendly and don’t shoot trespassers.”
Liara pauses, concern in her eyes, “That... I’m sure we’ll be fine.” She’s studying the two large, round tables in the center of the room.

"Eh? What is it Mork?" Altos asks as he turns around.
"Well, the entrance to this illustrious off-the-ground human dwelling has went poofy."
"Poofy?"
"It's gone, nyet, nada."
"So it just vanished? Or did you break it?"
"Hey, Earthman, don't look at me."
Altos looks around, the surrounding seem pleasant enough. "Well, then we'll just have to find another way down. Hopefully the owner doesn't mind us poking around looking for a way out."
"MMM!!!!" exclaimed Mork. "FOOD!"
"Hey, that isn't ours!"
"I'm sure they won't mind."
Mork starts rifling through the fruit baskets. _________________ If I thought that I was crazy, well I guess I'd have more fun.

Konalan: "Uh oh, the ramp's gone. Looks like we're stuck here."
O'Neill: *adjusts his cap* "We've been in worse situations. Let's see if we can find another way down."
Konalan: I suppose we could use this tablecloth to make a rope." *carefully removes the baskets of fruit and sets them on the other tables*
O'Neill: *patrols the room, and glances down the halls, left first, then right. He then grabs a piece of fruit and sniffs it.* "Here, wanna snack?" *tosses a piece of fruit to Konalan*
Konalan: "I can rip this tablecloth into strips to make a longer rope."
OOC: how far up are we and how long is the tablecloth?
*Stands in doorway out of breath with hands on knees*
Holly: "You are really out of shape"
S-Shut..up...*stands up straight* Where are we?
Holly: "A treehouse"
*looks around*....this is true....oh god a chair! It's mine! *falls into one of the chairs between the round tables and Holly looks out of the window*
Holly: "Hey there's more tree houses over there"
mmmmm yes interesting *stretches out and relaxes*
Holly: "You lazy bum"
*grunts and pulls Indiana Jones style hat down over eyes* _________________ There's the army of the undead on my doorstep, commanded by a skeletal dragon and a lich king. I have low HP, no spells and impossible odds...but I have initiative....BRING IT ON!
*A bright red fighter craft hurtles across the sky, belching flames and smoke as it smartly executes a lazy barrel role before plunging to the earth
Moments later a blonde man in a slightly singed fur lined space suit, followed by a man in a smart black suit with accompanying hat enter the treetops.*
"Rough landing Sar old boy, ruined my best suit as well. Let's find out where we've landed"
*Ace checks takes the third walkway, while Sardaukar sits down at the table. He takes some of the exotic fruit and after a few minutes furious work sits back with a tropical drink complete with paper umbrella.*
An explosive *POOF* erupts in the middle of the treehouse, accompanied by a shower of rainbow-colored sparks. Stumbling out of the smoke, coughing and waving in frenzied circles, Amberyl Ravenclaw aka Amber Lim aka Just Plain Amber makes her not-so-grand entrance into the world. Sporting a round straw hat, thick sunglasses, a tropical-motif sarong, and a tall glass of a fizzy liquid something topped off with a slice of pineapple, she looks very much at home.
"Well! Hi everyone!" Amber hiccups, and reflexively gulps down half a glass of the whatever-it-is. "Nice holiday here, eh? Gee, I'm hungry. Nobody lives on non-alcoholic sherry alone." Her gaze falls straight on the bowl of exotic fruit, and she makes a beeline to it, bowling over Davitto in the process. _________________ "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"
*falls out of chair and rolls under a table looking up* Well that was unpleasant....alright alright I'm getting up *crawls out from under the table*
Holly: "have a plesant nap? "
It was fine until I got hit by some kind of bus on steriods.....did you see what happened?
Holly: "I think you had a bad dream and fell over"
....really...I don't know what you're covering up but I'm sure I won't like it *looks around room*...well it's getting kinda crowded around here, let's go explore.
*Davitto and Holly leave via the left platform* _________________ There's the army of the undead on my doorstep, commanded by a skeletal dragon and a lich king. I have low HP, no spells and impossible odds...but I have initiative....BRING IT ON!
The tables are elegantly carved, but otherwise plain, and made of a deep brown wood that matches the trees outside.
Altos: Looking through the baskets of fruit on the table, Mork notices a green and white holly leaf attached to some cherries.
Konalan: The tablecloth wouldn't be able to reach the ground.
Looking outside and upwards, you can see some similar trees stretching into the distance. Looking down, you can't see the ground but can see the tops of a lot of smaller trees. It's quite a nice view.
Davitto: Well, it was a bit of a climb.
I rephrased a bit of that initial description in the journal. The tables are in the middle of the room, with chairs.
Sardaukar: Nice way to make a drink.
Following the path ahead and to the right, this treehouse appears more informal than the others. There is a lack of any sort of tables or chairs, with just cushions on the floor for sitting on. There are a few plants in medium-sized pots around the room, and some with vines and flowers hanging down from pots attached to the walls. The room has a relaxed feel to it.
Hi Amber, I see Davitto is in trouble already.
The fruits are all sorts of weird and wonderful, such as something blue that resembles a strawberry, a few small and round purple ones, and some long and rather flat-looking things that look more like vegetables. Plus some recognisable fruit such as pineapples, cherries, and some kiwi fruit.
Davitto: Following the path to the left of the main room, this treehouse has a long bench on either side, each with green padding. The roof is absent in this particular room. There are some detailed lunar charts on the walls, and an elaborate telescope in the middle of the floor. It seems this room was intended for stargazing.
oooh a telescoping machine *looks through telescope*
Holly: "Ahem....you won't see anything during the day"
It might be a magagical telekescope
Holly: "magagical?...telekescope?...did that fall scramble your brain?"
No more than normal
*Holly sighs then sits on a bench looking at the star charts* _________________ There's the army of the undead on my doorstep, commanded by a skeletal dragon and a lich king. I have low HP, no spells and impossible odds...but I have initiative....BRING IT ON!
*Steps away from the telescope*....I knew that!...I was just....checking to make sure the lenses ere in the right place...thats all! *looks through the right end of the telescope*
*Holly sighs and goes back to looking at the star charts* _________________ There's the army of the undead on my doorstep, commanded by a skeletal dragon and a lich king. I have low HP, no spells and impossible odds...but I have initiative....BRING IT ON!
