In the Sahuagin City, everytime I finish speaking to Prince Villynaty and agreeing to help him the Royaly High Priestess Senityili ends up dying. The first time this happened when I returned to the king he said the final two lines he says when you turn her in and I got the journal entry saying that I had indeed turned her in when I didn't and he still took the fake heart. When I spoke to him again, he asked if I had gotten the heart but I couldn't tell him I got it already because he already took it. After going back to a previous save, Senityili still drops dead after speaking with King Ixilthetocal does proceed as it should however. I am still curious though, is Senityili supposed to die after speaking with Villynaty regardless or is that another script error? I did have the fix pack installed prior to this. |

I think she does get killed after the King figures out the masquerade, and the Prince attacks, but things still seem a bit weird in your game, since the journal/dialogues don't seem right. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless the bugs are preventing you from proceeding with the plot. _________________ BG2 Anagram of the Week: Gorf the Squisher = Quest for her. (Sigh.) |

In my game, she also dies the first time you speak with the Prince, along with Captain Feerlattiys (spelling?), her ally. When I returned to King Ixilthetocal with the fake heart, he explains this by saying he had them sacrificed for a feast in celebration of your victory... and then the Prince attacks, and you kill the King.
I'm not sure about the journal thing, though. They never said I had turned her in unless I had actually done so. |

That's how it's always worked in my games as well (Senityili and Feerlattiys die as soon as you talk to the Prince), but as far as I can remember, the king merely says he sacrificed guards, or servants, or something like that to celebrate your victory - he doesn't explicitly mention Senityili or Feerlattiys by name, which is why I never quite understood why they suddenly kicked the bucket. That would be a fairly logical explanation, though. |
