At West Nottinghamshire College in Mansfield, England, a modified Neverwinter Nights has students excited about their classes. Math and literacy skills have shot up as students can't get enough of this fun learning tool.

That's absolutely brilliant! What an ingenious idea. Thumbs up to BioWare for creating a game that, through alterations, is now getting students to learn the basics. |

If I remember correctly a college of journalism in the states did the same thing, it is a smart idea though, |

Will this be available for download for free? Or will this be available for sale?
I obviously would like to see it for free, but understand that there are costs to making something like this. I would love to get something like this for my kids. |

"students wouldn't let the teachers go until they had helped them learn how to calculate area" (para)
simply brill use of the engine.
pity they attribute the genius of the gane to atari.
but taht's ok, we know it was you boiled egg eaters at bioware who did the real work in making this happen.

I'm guessing it's a module, and they launch NWN using command lines or something (like adding "+connect [server IP]" to the path of a shortcut connects you instantly to an online server). Or just deleting the NWM folder. |
