With NWN 1.68 we now have support for dynamic cloaks! Equip a cloak into the cloak slot and a cloak appears on your character. Read this tutorial to learn how to add exciting new cloak textures to your games.

I like them and there are different cloaks. It's great that bioware is still releasing updates so Neverwinter Nights will be much better each time.
I hope there will be a new Add-On or a bigger update with more cool stuff.
NWN is my favorite RPG, I hope NWN 2 will be good too, but I think NWN will be best!

we have come a long way from the robes and cloaks discussion simply consisting of "nope sorry not gonna happen" to having a patch for it and a tutorial

it is nice to see support for nwn is still going stron despite nwn2 looming and i thank bioware for it

theres no need to withdraw support as long as its still in use this isnt microsoft and nwn doesnt have to be windows 98 and nwn2 windows xp in relation to software support(windows 98 no longer has microsoft support and xp obviously does for those who didnt get that analogy)

In the tutorial it wants you too download the GIMP PLT Plugin.. Might be a stupid question, but were do you place this EXE file.. I have looked for a gimp program but fail to find one.. I downloaded the NWNexplorer and it works as advertised..

Well here's my first try at a retextured cloak: Click Here

You're seeing it at it's best there, if you zoom out a couple of clicks the stars all dissapear and most colours don't give a very good effect.

Still, at least I know how to do it now and can hopefully do something better next time.

...

It's just occured to me that a cloak with a hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy style DON'T PANIC on it would be very cool, maybe I'll give that a go next.

Are all the cloaks tan?
They look different but they're all the same color. Is this normal or can I fix it without making my own cloaks?

Problem with these new cloaks is they only render correctly on human characters, on halfling and dwarves they;re about 5 feet in the air above then, on half orcs about the middle of the back, and elves up aroudn their noses.

Any ideas on how to fix this or do I have to wait to bioware to patch this screw up?

(note I tried it with without any haks and ther latest update.)
