It is part of Canadian contest law. We do not announce what the question will be and it is only given if you are the winner. It is usually a maths formula along the lines of 7x5- 2(8/4)=? or something similar.

I won a few contests already. Usually I win when I forgot that I had entered the contest, and only remembered when the message that I won arrived.
Of course, there's probably tons of other contests that I might have forgotten and never thought of again because I didn't win.
I remember I once won a Chip Beanie Buddy (by TY. You know, like a Beanie Baby, only larger.) at a medium large PETZ 3 fan-page. I was extremely surprised when one day a parcel with it arrived from England.

these contests are the ideas of end-game bosses who laugh at your feeble attempts to win 
at least that is my opinion. but seriously, like someone else wrote, I have entered countless contest only to forget that I did.
Its kind of sad to enter a contest and forget then go to enter the same contest a few weeks later and get the notice that you have already entered.  |
