I was reading the inof and it all sounds great. The problem is that when i logged to the server's website it took me FOREVER to load a page. Its unfortunate because I love tryin good servers.

Avado, I suggest you give it another go. The website loads up in my browser quickly. This PW, and I admit I am biased, is definitely worth checking out.

Hmm indeed there seems to be a slight problem with the website atm. Have no fear its only temporary, you can alternativly join the Bioware Dor Maeglin forum board to attain all you need to enter this extensive realm.
Great adventure is upon us, Dor Maeglins war torn history is ever evolving. The gods watch as it unfolds but only the Dorians can truely shape its future.

I'm a long time player of Dor Maeglin, and I have to say that it is one of only two servers that I play on. I think that what I like about it the most is the player base it has. One of the friendly and easiest to get going on that's for sure.
I'm really happy to see that it's getting the coverage that it deserves. |

I'm still waiting. I have been on the server status page on dor and it is still loading the page. Its been a good 5 mins now (i have cable highspeed). I am waitin to join the guild (ty for that suggestion!), but I'd like to try the pw.. does anyone know where to find it?

The IP is 199.227.153.30:5121. If you have an ATI card turn off shiny water, cause it tends to want to boot you if its on.
There are subraces that can be selected at character creation that add permanent stat increases to your character , for example aasimar (+2 wisdom, +2 charisma, -2 constitution, 5 acid, electrical, cold resists, and get darkvision) and the first time you log in a brand new character it will be booted to check for the subrace.
Just filling you in cause you may think theres a connection problem. There are many other subraces that can be selected, some are on the web page, but all are listed in the guild forums under the game info link.
I've been playing on Dor Maeglin for over 2 years, so that should let you know a little bit about its replay value, if you want a good challenge, get to participate in storyline events, and a mod thats been balanced so that players and spawns are put on a level playing field then come try Dor Maeglin, its great fun guaranteed

The server IP is up on the front page of the website. www.DorMaeglin.com it should be working fine now. Alternativaly join the Dor Maeglin Guild on the Bioware forums.

After going to "Multiplayer" -> "Join Internet Game" one of the buttons at the very bottom says "Direct Connect". That might help . |
