A new pair of special epic builds is available for study and download. The Holy Paragon and Eldritch Archer make use of the Player's Resource Consortium pak and they feature brand new prestige classes! Also, we caught up with Lord Deimos from the PRC to get details of what's on the horizon for the hard-working group.

You messed up the Eldritch Archer, it gives all the stats of the Primeval Champion, and shows his abilities with scimitar /fullplate/ranger favored enemies/ and ranger spells. You need to fix this

Bottom of the Eldritch page (the download link) also says "Note: The Holy Paragon requires the PRC page to operate". Must have slipped through.

Nevermind that, what I meant to say is... how do you use the PRC Base Classes and Races? Thanks

I'm actually bummed about these builds, cause I have no intention of downloading PRC, it's pretty buggy and in Multiplayer the Module loads AFTER character creation so you do not have access to some of the new 'base' classes until you are in game and level up.

Its the haks that load after character creation, but there's nothing we can do about that, since its hardcoded into the game. The same goes for not being able to take new base classes at level 1, since for some reason only rows 0-10 of the class.2da file can be taken at level 1.

As for the bugs, I'd really like to know where they are. We fix every bug we come across, and really have never had any major complaints about broken classes, and the bug complaints have been getting less as we've added more content.

I haven't tested it in a long time, and actually removed it from my PC altogether as many of the feats and spells didn't seem to work and it was those things that had drawn me to trying it in the first place. But as I mentioned that was long ago.

I think you'll be pleasently suprised if you try the new version. If it was long enough ago, the main problem you would have had was lag, which has completely removed a version or two ago. We've also hit 75 classes, with over 25 more coming in the next release, among many many other things, so there's an option for whatever style of character you like. 2.3 should by itself be larger in terms of player content than both SoU and HoTU combined.

think ya at 82 if you include all 8 "flavors of savants" bud, last time I counted my class list at level up it was at 104 classes, as bioware only ever released 22, say's a whole lot about what the PRC is doing 'eh?

Not true if you're server admin installs the new Conversation Charecter Creator. It's a "Server-Side" conversation that dynamicly creates a .bic from the .2da's, boots ya, and you come back in with the new stuff :}

*waves to Stratovarius*

It's nice to see the work of the PRC get this recognition. The work that comes from this team consistently stretches the imagination and our ability - as players - to customize our characters.

Hats off to the PRC!

And for anyone wanting more documentation about the PRC features or who wants an offline version of the documentation, see our documentation on NWVault Click Here Hopefully the screenshots and step-by-step instructions will clear up any issues people have had with being unable to run the java Character Creator or installing the PRC in the first place.

As for these particular builds, they are really rather tame compared to some of them. A pixie wiz/lich/archmage would have been a lot more fun

And if anyone wants to try a PW running the PRC, see this thread on our forums: Click Here and this thread for some reviews of some of the servers: Click Here Of course, youll need the PRC haks and any module specific ones first.

Or if SP modules are more your style, as well as easy (2 clicks ) installation into almost any existing module including the official campaigns (except for the premium modules), there are a handful of modules specifically modified to include the PRC: Click Here I would particularly recommend Endless Nights IV for its replayability and excellent incorporation of the PRC races Click Here Nothing quite like running around smashing stuff on a LAN game as a mintoaur, an ogre, and a troll
