'Tis the season to overindulge on kidney-damaging sweets like "Chocolate covered Suger Fried Icing Smacktee-Loops" and put yourself into an endless dreamy glucose stupor. Put down grandma's fruit cake and catch up on the Top 10 reasons to give premium Neverwinter Nights modules this holiday season.

Not that I don't love NWN but arnt we going just a little overboard with advertising this? I have to see the ads when i turn on the game, every time i read anything on the bioware page, and ever week in the newsletter. This has put me at the point where I have gone from "hmm interesting I need to check one of thease out." to "man I hate this add. I wish Bioware would just shut up about it already." Now thats perty bad in and of it's self. I just feel that there is such a thing as to much of a good thing, and I have see to much . Please no more I want to find out something usefull when I read the newsletter not be sickend that it is going to be yet more self promotion.

Give BioWare a break. We can't keep taking updates they provide essentially for free without expecting something back in return. I'll put up with any amount of Premium Module advertisement if it means continual updates on NWN. I might even actually buy one.

Remember, above BioWare is Atari. Essentially a bunch of blood-sucking corporate suits who will only support the community as long as they see potential profit in it. I'm over-simplifying, but this is a company we're dealing with, not Santa Claus.

Just my two coppers...

I have not problem with the "advertisement" and have bought both for myself and one as a gift.

Thank you Bioware, keep up the good work and Marry Christmas!

Don't you have enough money? This is absolutely pathetic, and entirely unbecoming of a company with such status as Bioware. It really turns my stomach to see you pimping modules.

I will NEVER, EVER pay for this content. Guaranteed.

Just my opinions with regards to the above posts:

Yes, there is too much advertising on this. Everyone knows about these modules. More advertising will not gain more sales from people who would buy at this point. It only tends to annoy.

The updates are a two-edged sword. It is highly likely that part of the 1.64 and 1.65 updates were things to keep people from editing/opening the premium modules in the toolset. Not all changes are bug fixes, content update, etc.

Finally, I'll never buy any premium module until the requirement to be connected to the Internet to play is removed. I play on my laptop and very often am not connected to the Internet.

My problom dose not lie with the premium mods not at all. Where it dose lie is in the fact that any one who spends as much time as i do in the bioware pages sees the adds nonstop. I even had a bad dream about it. I would be happy if they took the add for them off the login screen for the game. then I would not have to feel as if they where been shoved down my gullet.Look as I am posting this what is next to the post box yet once more an add for kingmaker, what will I see when I log in to play with friends in a bit more adds. I dont think advertising thease is wronge no not at all but lets see some restraint in it. please for our sanity!
