Cool - they're finally there... But it's not what i've expected. Having to pay for those modules keeps me away from playing them. Second point -> they're only available in ENGLISH - for non-native speaker like me, this could mean an obstacle. Third -> even the *light* version of Kingmaker has to be paid - there is no *teaser* levels/area's to test those new modules. . . . . I think i'll gonna wait - perhaps there will be a bundled CD-Version of those modules, perhaps even in a localized version... |

I love your game Neverwinter and have bought all the updates, but for some reason, even tho I called my credit card company to verify that the account was open and accessible, your system won't accept my credit card. I have gone thru the process twice now. What gives? |

Congratulations on the new store and premium modules.. I purchased ShadowGuard and Witches Wake and I have to say I'm impressed. The purchase, download and install were very smooth and professional.
I have played through the first couple of hours of Witches Wake and the difference between this module and the original campaign (and even the expansion campaigns) is astounding. If all the premium modules are of this standard then I will be kept busy for many more months Well done Rob! I would urge everyone (even those hardcore opponents of pay-to-play modules) - give them a try - the price is ridiculously low even for what I have seen so far.
Thanks Bioware for continuing to support the community. |

I bought both of the new premium modules and am very impressed and please with both of them. There is a problem however in that I play on my laptop and cannot load my saved games unless I am in a place that has internet access due to the authentication that happens each time I load one of the new modules. I recognize the need for security, but I believe that this is excessive. I did purchase the modules and the cd key is on my harddrive so is there a way to have the premium modules look there for the cd key instead of some remote internet site? I often like to play in my van while running waiting for the kids to finish thier activities, and it's a little frustrating not to be able to play a game that I've purchased. Thanks, Chuck |

Well.....
I had also waited for the last couple of weeks to buy the new premium modules for NWN.
And yes! Then november the 10th came og the shop was open!
BUT, when I tried to pay with my new VISA card I could not select '2012' as expiration year?? I could only select from '2004' to '2011'...
I live in Denmark, and from this summer 2004 _all_ Danes with VISAcards recieved a new VISAcard from their bank - that beside the magnetic strip on the back have the new IC-Chip mounted on the surface. And they have all 2012 as expiration year.......
That means that virtualy none Danes with VISA cards can buy from the Bioware store - what a bummer.
So Bioware: Could you pls. change your the creditcard validation soon, so we Danes can use our VISA cards with 8 year expiration time (2012) in your web-shop?
Thanks In advance Joho2 |

Was excited to see new content for NWN. Bought both premium module packs. Don't mind paying some for great modules. Did it for AD&D, why not here? Congratulations to the module developers! Nice work, and with a little more debugging, they will be great. How will premium modules be updated?. Hope to see more than thunderstorm and wererats from Kingmaker.
There are still quite a few typos, a couple bugs, and as several others have experienced, I cannot get Kingmaker to proceed beyond the introduction. I'll be patient. Hoping Witch's Wake runs smoothly.
ShadowGuard was fun, but was disappointed by how SHORT this module was. Finished the whole thing in 5 hours (that's $1.00/hour for a game I've already dumped $100.00 into for the game engine and upgrades). Seems a good start (Story was involving, scenery was pretty nice, game play was fun for level suggested, although a respawn option would be nice). There was a cliffhanger ending in SG and I did not feel the cost to be worth as much as several of the free modules I've had in the past. Would expect that if I am paying Bioware (and hopefully module creators) for a module, there should be additional benefits (ie: new prestige classes, new spells, ... something that can enhance the NWN game as a whole).
Ashame that Bioware has not put as much time into making the User updates like CEP and PRC a combined pack that is well-integrated (and backwardly compatible) into all modules. I WOULD gladly pay a few dollars for THAT, as it drastically expanded fun and beauty. Only problem have been some conflict between them and most modules available are not yet coded for CEP.
Premium modules as a concept are alright, but when I am paying between 1/6 to 1/3 the price of upgrades like SOU and HOTU, I would like to feel that I am getting more than a few hours of game play. Looking forward to more ... |
