Does this mean we all get jobs for bioware?
Really, I hope this helps get the word out to people about what we do. _________________ TheGuidetoBuilding–TheToolsetManual UnitedArchitects |

I like tacos as well.
Hopefully this attracts more attention to you folks making you all have to work harder. You see I secretly envy all you ultra-talented builder people because I am such a dork when it comes to scripting and such. Edited By Jay Watamaniuk on 10/06/04 22:42 |

/me inserts obligatory Toolset under Linux plug.
See website referenced in .sig for the (moderately) complex instructions on how to run the Toolset via Wine..

We are brothers-in-arms, Jay! Or brothers-in-tacos, anyway. Drop by when you're in Melbourne sometime and we'll do tacos. Or sushi. We can find a giant taco suit and make Kim wear it...
Mmmm sushi...

I don't know if you guys get any thanks at all, so here goes. Thanks for making this guild, it is exactly what I had been looking for. I had created and finished several mods but they lacked any interesting puzzles, or well scripted effects. In this guild there are numerous places where I can go and discuss how to make my mods better, and I even get the chance to help out anyone in need. So keep up the good work, this is one of the best run guilds out there!

If I may add my two cents worth--I just downloaded and read the pdf text this last weekend and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with the amount of insightful information it had in pertaining how to use the toolset to its fullest potential. Without even touching the surface of how to script it helped me to understand the potential uses that scripting could have in creating a module worth submitting. Now I can't wait to see what changes to my existing project I can make to improve the outcome. Major thanks and kudos to all that worked to put this together, and I look forward to the additional things to come. _________________ The beast roared up from the pit, clawing its way through the screaming sacrifices. Jay, I think I understand because I am not very good at understanding the script language that is used. Though Lilac Soul's Script generator has helped me in furthering my projects. And I love the Toolset. |
