This week, we feature two more awe-inspiring epic character community contributions. The Devastating Kukri Master is the consummate combatant, combining a blenderific attack style with a stainless steel defense. The Rogue Archer was built to deliver the best sneak attack damage and employ hit and run guerilla tactics.

You show the Rogue Archer as starting with 20 dexterity and putting all ability points into Dex. This would give him ending dex of 30. But you also show this character taking several great dexterity feats. You have the final stats screen shot showing 30, but if this character takes this many great dex feats they obviously won't have an ending dex of 30. Did you mean the Great Dexterity feats to be Improved Sneak Attack? That's what I think you meant.
The link that says you can "post your build here" doesn't work. That goes to the excellent character post version 2.0 or 3.0. Those threads were locked. The link needs to be updated to the 4.0 version.
Just trying to help.

Both PC's look very good. My only question is on the weapon master. Why take the Champion of Torm PrC? Why not just continue taking levels in fighter or weapon master?

You also show for the Rogue Archer taking the weapon feats with a Longbow, when halflings are too small to use one. Also, you are missing the rogue bonus feats for Rogue 10 and 13. |

*nods* I noticed that as well. I'm guessing a typo, but you could use a similar build with a human and not a halfling and get the longbow.

The Rogue Archer Character Advancement History is 100% illegal. I guess it does not belong the that char .
At level 1 he takes 2 feats. Rogues have BAB 0 at level 1 so they canīt take weapon focus.
Halflings canīt use longbow.
At level 4 he takes weapon spez. as a rogue with only 2 fighter levels
At level 22 he takes epic weapon focus as a rogue bonus feat.
He takes Great Dextery as a rogue bonus feat.
That char has only 17d6 sneak attack because he doesnīt take a single improved sneak attack feat.
Perhaps there are many more mistakes... |

Also I donīt understand why he takes any points in discipline. That char will have a pretty high armor class. When he gets hit discipline wonīt help him at all. More rogue levels and epic dodge would be a much better investment.
No, thatīs not a good build imho. |

Definitely something wrong with it, that's for sure, but I think there are some things that could fix it.
Quote: At level 1 he takes 2 feats. Rogues have BAB 0 at level 1 so they canīt take weapon focus.
Can't take two feats at level one since he's not human or a fighter, but he only is given one feat at 3rd level, when he should have two (one standard, one for 2nd level Fighter). Just move one of the other feats to 3rd.
Quote: At level 4 he takes weapon spez. as a rogue with only 2 fighter levels
I'd just swap Rapid Shot with Weapon Specialization (the 4th and 6th level feats)
Quote: That char has only 17d6 sneak attack because he doesnīt take a single improved sneak attack feat.
Maybe he meant to put Improved Sneak Attack in place of the Great Dexterity feats?
In any case, pretty sloppy... |

As said previously, the Rogue Archer is totally illegal and ridiculously built !! No interest at all !! |

Hey all,
Thanks for spotting errors on the Rogue Archer page! Great feedback. I've posted a revised level progression table. Please check it out and let me know if you spot anything else.
This issue was definitely my mistake and had nothing to do with Torias--so throw the bricks at me.
Cheers

*nods* I guess he was going for a maximum return on martial feats. Plundered his rogue levels early and cost him more than a few skill points in return. |

champion of torm provides bonus feats like the fighter, but ALSO provides saving throw bonuses on top of that... can't go wrong. |

discipline? how is it not helpful?
there's always the chance that you will get caught in melee and someone will try to knock you down as you retreat... the character has oodles of skill points, discipline is a worthwhile investment |
