Did I see some river's edge beach in the corner of that screen shot? Beaches? |

I'm fairly certain that its not beaches, but a stream. It's nice to dream though... |

I have noticed during the transition that the clouds don't change - meaning that they used the same cloud "layer" for each version of the clear skies. I was wondering, Jeff; what would be the chance that you guys would release the photoshop files for these skies. That way we could add our own heavenly bodies behind the clouds. Since the skies were supposed to be included in the HoU pack but had to be missed out at the last moment due to there being no room on the disc, I was expecting them to all be in the next patch anyway. Since they were already done for the HoU release they simply need packaging and punting. The way this announcement sounds, though, I'm thinking we might just get them one by one. I must say, that would be a bit mean since we have already paid for these. One of the main reasons I got HoU was for the skies, and I find we only get one and the much vaunted day-night transitions are badly broken. I understand the disc capacity problem, though the day-night thing might have been tested at least once before being released. It is clear someone just stood there and took screen-shots, since leaving the area would have shown they were knackered imediately.
Look, I don't really mind that much as long as we get all our skies and the day-night fix in the next patch. I must ask though, Bioware, do you have an up-to-date ISO quality cert.? Up to what level? If you do, I really can't see the testing procedure you obviously used on the day-night transition fitting in with your approved strategy. I'd tighten up before the review. _________________ Higher & Higher, BongMong ~Edited By BongMong on 01/21/04 20:00 |

Will we have the ability to change the skies from Clear to Stormy and back again? _________________ Curt 'Moondrake' Miller Grand High Poobah of the Ancient Mystic Order of Old FogeysEdited By Moondrake on 01/21/04 19:51 |

Wait...isn't that already included in the Toolset? Ah, who cares.
On an unrelated note, that skybox brought back a funny memory -- In BG1, whenever there was a storm, my Paladin would keep getting hit by lightning. Thanks for the memory. _________________ "Get the door: it's not delivery, it's destruction!" -Mark Edward Hoyle, Movie Geek, Comedy Central's "Beat the Geeks" |

A few things
1) I thot it was in the toolset already
2) I understand they are broken when you leave the area and come back. They revert to clear skies
3) Does the sun move? Because in the clear skies the sun sets in the east for some crazy reason. |

Is there any idea as to how this new content like the stormy skies and the green hag are going to be distributed? Are we going have to pay for them or are they going to be free in patches? |
