Many, many layers of oil-black evil coat this vilest of the living dragons. So baby-seal taunting evil is the shadow dragon that prancing do-gooders simply detonate in a shower of law-abiding fragments within 30 feet of this foul wyrm. One of 16 new creatures in Hordes of the Underdark!

Is it bigger than the 'normal' dragons?

It's about the same size as any adult dragon, and that's as big as dragons go in the game. You can stick "ancient" in front of its name, but the size never changes. The breath weapon of the shadow dragon also looks a lot like the blue dragon's breath weapon.

I may be going crazy, but where is the Shadow Dragon in the toolset?
I went through all the creatures and could not find it

It looks... weird.. the head looks too long for my liking and where is its teeth..? I don't.. I mean... uhhmmmm... well, I have been hoping that Bioware would make another dragon but this is just plain WEIRD. I dunno if I like it too much. It's okay, though... heh.. but nothing now can stop me from getting HotU!!

Look in creatures and dragons. It should be in there as "ancient shadow dragon" or something. There's also a prismatic dragon in there too. If you're looking for the dracolich, it's in the undead section under "other", I think. Wherever you find the ghouls and liches, that's where you'll find it. As for the jaw length of this model, etc, it's expected. The modelers for this game are notorious for making near replicas of the monsters from the sourcebooks, with little variation in their appearance.

...I've found one in the game, and it was a inn-keeper...

where do I get to fight one?

Also, I can't find it in the tool-set either, and it's *not* under dragons, unless I'm über-blind.

make sure u update your module with Hotu and then go to ancient dragons , it should be there, it seems bioware decided only very old shadow dragons exist so you wont find a young or old shadow dragon slot. To me its quite sinister looking, unlike the good dragons who look special ed at times.
