He wouldn't want to avoid them though, He will be able to kill anything the game throws at him without much trouble. Their great spells, And invinsibility helps him to sneak away if he needs to rest, Or to get time out of a heated battle to sit back and think how he should do it.
The more things he kill, The more experience, gold and items he gets. Not to mention the challenge in itself is to be able to kill anything alone, which you would normally kill with a party of 3-6 |

And algernon's cloak, and summons, and the boots of speed.
Minor globe of Invunerability will be useful to get past the nastier traps, otherwise potions if you're metagaming. Mirror Image is a life saver for battles that you can't/don't want to avoid. Knock is essential for getting loot from locked chests.
Soloing a mage is not nearly as difficult as it sounds. You'll have a rough beginning, but that's it. Eventually, the game will be a total breeze _________________ Things to do today: 1) Get up 2) Survive 3) Go back to bedEdited By Yrkoon on 11/07/09 05:34 |

Blindness enables you to kill quite powerful enemies with a sling. (They can't fight back) |
