Hello,
i just bought BG series 4 in one box from Atari so i was wondering do i need install any patch for it?
I got 22'' monitor so any sugestions what to do so my picture looks good on widescreen.
How to remove annoying black boxes?
Do i need shadowkeeper to finish romance with Jaheira or so?
I dont like mods and cheats but if i need any of that for better picture or removing nasty bugs feel free to tell me.
I finished game 2 times so i wanna play it again, just need few infos what changed.

Hello there!
I'm sorry, but the only thing that I can help you with is your question about Shadowkeeper. You do not need it to finish any of the romances, but if you were to make a mistake and mess up the current romance, you can change some kind of variables via Shadowkeeper to get the romance going again. Don't ask me how to change these variables, 'cause I'm a complete noob when it comes to technical stuff.  However, I'm sure there are a lot of technically experienced members on this forum, so do ask them if you have questions!

I know when I had to replace Shadows of Amn because disc 2 failed to read properly during the install or something, when I re-ordered BG2 and ToB in 1 case there was an extra disc with the patches on it. By all accounts you will need to patch the game, yes.

You can use the Widescreen mod.
