Hi all, Ive just got a new netbook (toshiba nb200) which is great and im installing old games I didnt play or just want to play again. Ive been playing planescape torment (best game ever) and fallout which aint bad either. I must have had BG II since it first came out but never actually played it (I did complete the original).
anyway it plays great as long as I change the cpu affinity of bgmain.exe to use both atom cpu's...if i leave it, its kind of stuttery in 32bit colour mode. It just means I have to run the game, and go to desktop to change it every time. is there any way to make it use both permanantly? |

yeah i just wish i could get rid of this cpu thing..more of an annoyance than anything. looking forward to starting it though! any little character creation tips? |

You can use Imagecfg to permanently set the CPU affinity of a executable (bgmain.exe), rather than setting it on a per-session basis via the task manager.
