Hi all, Ive just got a new netbook (toshiba nb200) which is great and im installing old games I didnt play or just want to play again. Ive been playing planescape torment (best game ever) and fallout which aint bad either. I must have had BG II since it first came out but never actually played it (I did complete the original).

anyway it plays great as long as I change the cpu affinity of bgmain.exe to use both atom cpu's...if i leave it, its kind of stuttery in 32bit colour mode. It just means I have to run the game, and go to desktop to change it every time. is there any way to make it use both permanantly?

You can use Imagecfg to permanently set the CPU affinity of a executable (bgmain.exe), rather than setting it on a per-session basis via the task manager.
You can read more about the program e.g. here.
